Quotation systems for construction contractors
Raze Drops builds quotation systems for construction contractors, so an enquiry becomes a priced quotation from your own rate book in a day rather than a fortnight, and every quotation is followed up until the client accepts or declines it.

Quotations get written at night, after site work, by the one person who knows the rates. That is why they take two weeks, why they vary, and why nobody ever chases the ones that went out. This page describes the quotation system we build for a contractor, and what it costs.
What does a contractor lose to a slow quotation?
A client who waited a fortnight has already taken two other quotations, and yours now competes on price alone because it arrived last.
Quotations that did go out are rarely followed up, so the pipeline quietly fills with work that was neither won nor lost. The owner is the bottleneck and also the only person who can see that it is happening.
What does the quotation system actually do?
It turns the site notes, measurements and photographs into a priced quotation using your own rate book, in your own format, ready for you to check and release.
Once it goes out, the system chases it on a schedule, records the answer, and keeps the client informed through the job afterwards. The pricing logic is an AI software build; the chasing and the client updates are marketing automation.
What does a quotation build cost and how long is it?
Pricing is per project, from $300 to $9,000 depending on the trades, the rate structure and how much of your document format has to be reproduced, plus a monthly maintenance retainer.
The proposal and the price come before any deal is signed, so there is no open meter on the build. Contractors often read project management for interior designers and client intake for law firms alongside this.
| Step from enquiry to decision | Quoting by hand today | With the quotation system |
|---|---|---|
| Site notes and measurements | Typed up at night | Turned into line items the same day |
| Pricing the work | From memory and an old file | Applied from your current rate book |
| Producing the document | Rebuilt in a word processor | Produced in your format, ready to check |
| Sending it out | Whenever the evening allows | Released as soon as you approve it |
| Follow up | Almost never happens | Chased on a schedule until an answer |
Send us two recent quotations and we will come back with a proposal and a fixed price. Start on the contact page.
