Can a chatbot sell over WhatsApp?

Yes, when it is built as an inbox sales agent rather than a script: it answers every enquiry, qualifies the buyer, quotes from your own price list and hands the ready ones to a person. We build it on your WhatsApp Business account and the CRM you already run.

What does an inbox sales agent do with an enquiry?

It answers within minutes, asks the two or three questions that decide whether this is a real buyer, quotes from your price list, and passes the live ones to a person with the conversation attached. The slow ones it keeps warm on a schedule.

The volume problem is what makes WhatsApp different from a website form. Enquiries arrive all day, most are not ready to buy, and the ones that are ready look exactly like the ones that are not until somebody asks. A person doing that triage is expensive and inconsistent; an agent doing it is neither.

What should it never do on WhatsApp?

It should never message people who did not contact you, never pretend to be a human when asked directly, and never invent a price. Those three rules are in every build we ship.

We do not sell bulk messaging, bought contact lists or scraped numbers, and we will turn the work down if that is what is being asked for. Beyond the ethics, it is bad business: unsolicited messaging is the fastest way to lose a WhatsApp Business account, and the account is the asset. Everything our agents send goes to someone who messaged you first, from your own account, under your own name.

The other refusal worth stating is quoting outside the list. If a buyer asks for something the price list does not cover, the agent says it will check and hands the conversation to a person. A quote invented by software is a quote you have to honour.

What does a WhatsApp sales agent cost?

Projects run from $300 to $9,000, then a monthly maintenance retainer if you want it kept running [1]. One agent on one WhatsApp account sits near the bottom of that range.

The price climbs if the agent must also read stock levels, write into a CRM and hand over to different people by product line. The proposal states one fixed number and one delivery date, and nothing is signed before you have read it.

What do you need to start?

Your WhatsApp Business account, your price list, and the rule for which enquiries a person must see. Nothing technical.

A clinic version of the same build, where the action is a booking rather than a quote, is in how an AI appointment setter works. The service pages behind it are custom AI agent development and lead generation systems.

Tell us how many enquiries land each day on the contact page, and you get a proposal and a price before any deal is signed.
